A bonus chest is a menu option that can be enabled by a player when creating a Minecraft world in the PlayStation editions.
Overview[]
A bonus chest is an option to enable while creating a world in the PlayStation editions. When enabled, a chest will spawn a few blocks away from the player's default spawn point. The chest is just a normal chest surround by a few torches. The contents of the chest include food, tools, items, or other supplies that a player could use to survive and explore their new world. The chest and torches could also be taken with the player by repeatedly hitting the items until they fall on the ground, which can be collected by the player and stored in their inventory.
Trivia[]
- Once a world is created without the bonus chest enabled, it can not be enabled in the menu.
