A Minecart is a vehicle that can be ridden in by the player. It travels along Rails, and can be boosted via the use of a Minecart with Furnace or with Powered Rails. Any creature aside from the Wither or Ender Dragon can ride in a Minecart.

- Pigs with Saddles can ride in Minecarts. When this happens, the player can still ride on top of the pig, despite it being in a Minecart.
- If a player is riding a pig in a minecart, it could be controlled like a car.
